Be it the first space watch or the first chronograph under the brand, the Omega Speedmaster collection holds various distinctions under its belt. Launched in 1957, the Speedmaster collection was made for sports and racing. In 1965, during the Sigma 7 mission by NASA, astronaut Walter Schirra took his Omega Speedmaster with him.
