PRODUCT INFO:- This Authentic Indigo hand block printed dress is a carefully curated piece of craft from our hand block print collection straight from the artisans of Rajasthan. This contemporary embroidered neckline dress comes along with a cute brooch. It can be styled as a day look. Pair it with heels, boots, flip flops, sneakers or go barefoot, the choice is yours!  ABOUT THE COLLABORATION WITH TSUNAMIKA AND ARTISANS:- Likha initiative focuses on collaboration with artisans and handicraft enterprises that work towards uplifting their artisans giving them a platform to showcase the traditional craftsmanship that have been mastered throughout centuries. The first of many Likha’s collaborations with Tsunamika and Hit Ballah will be paying homage to not only artisans but also bringing awareness to the story of Tsunamika. These organizations have been carefully selected in their upliftment initiatives in two distinct fields:- -Women Empowerment -Artisans Skill Development  ABOUT TSUNAMIKA:- The project has focused on the fisherwomen who were traumatized by the Tsunami disaster. The initial aim of the project was to help the women overcome the trauma they experienced, by getting them involved in some creative handicraft work which could channel their energy in a constructive manner. For this purpose, 480 ladies from 6 coastal villages were given handicraft training to make a small doll using left-over fabric from Upasana's products. The project team then bought the completed dolls from the fisherwomen and began distributing them widely as gift items. The doll, known as Tsunamika, quickly became very popular, and soon helped establish a strong emotional bond and identity among the people who had made her, as well as among those who received her. Soon the project evolved into a livelihood option for nearly 180 ladies, who began receiving income for every doll they made.  SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:- -Hand wash gently in cold water -Store in a clean and dry place, away from insects, dust, excessive light and moisture -Dry in the shade -Wash separately DISCLAIMER:- -Handblock printed products might have slight irregularities in the motif & colours which are a result of human involvement in the process. Since the fabric is dyed and printed in natural colours, it may bleed colours on coming in contact with water.
