F Gear backpacks can be used in more than one ways, there is a detachable waist pouch which can be used in combination with the bag either in the front or back. It also can be used independently without the bag. There is an integrated flap jacket cover for lidless use, it is most suitable to keep helmets, footballs etc. Air flow channels at the back are designed to help ventilate your back and delay the onset of your sweaty mess. The ridges are typically shaped to try to balance comfort with airflow and also reduce the surface area of your back against the backpack.
